Purpose Of "Gem" Mechanic

Mechanic Outreach is a heavenly vision given to our father in the Lord to reach the unreached auto-mobile technicians. The vision was passed to us to us to:

-     To reach out to them with the gospel  message at all cost.

-     To spread the gospel to all at all levels.

-     To integrate them to the church.

-     To get them baptised in water.

-     To constantly and effectively follow them up.

-     And prepare them for heaven.

It is obvious that the activities of Mechanic Village Outreach will be manage and control by the central "GEM" managers.

The Journey So Far

We thank God for helping us a great deal in the past years to reach out to many automobile technicians in several mechanic villages with testimonies of conversion and planting of church/fellowship centers.

The following church and fellowship centers which are still standing are the result of our past outreaches:

Old Isolo

-     A church at Power line, Mechanic Village Ejigbo. Population: 50

-     Fellowship Centre, Oke-Afa Mechanic Village. Population: 15

-     Church, Aswani Mechanic Village. Population: 30

Old Alimosho

A church at Amule, Ayobo Mechanic Village. Population: 50

Old Ikeja

Ajayi Farm Mechanic Village

Fellowship Centre, Population: 25

Ikorodu

Agric, Mechanic Village

Fellowship Centre, Popluation: 20

Plans

-     Mass mechanic village evangelism fortnightly.

-     Weekly outreach to all mechanic villages.

-     Printing and distribution of relevant literature materials through the Life Press.

-     Developing and challenging the soul rescuers for effectiveness.

-     Aggressive follow up of converts through Believer Banquet at group headquarters, God’s willing, in all the Old districts subsequent to Mass outreach in all Mechanic villages.

-          Planting of churches in all mechanic villages in all the Old Districts..

Selection of Manpower

-.    1 old district leader.

-     1. Group leader

-     3 Brothers, and 3 Sisters per District. Location church will give us 2 Brothers and 2 Sisters.

Operational Strategies

-     Monthly central fasting and prayer.

-     Distribution of tracks on weekly basis.

-     Monthly mass tracts bombardment/Day crusade.

-     Free Medical Test with gospel message.

-     Free Auto Mobile Diagnostic training with gospel message

-     Charity Day ( Free distribution of food materials) with gospel message

-     Quarterly Employment programmes on:

      -     Expanding your horizons.

      -     From ZERO to HERO.

      -     Your little beginning: a step to a greater exploits. etc.

      -     Feedback and Report from the field for better planning and strategies.

      -     Creating a data base for the team members and converts.
